Prof. Satya Chakravarthy is a visionary in deep tech entrepreneurship, dedicated to democratizing technology and fostering sustainable development. As the Founder and CEO of The ePlane Company, he is pioneering the creation of India’s first flying electric taxi. In 2019, he made a significant stride in making flying ubiquitous by teaching the world's first electric aircraft course while incubating The ePlane Company at IIT Madras. Additionally, Prof. Chakravarthy established and leads the National Centre for Combustion Research & Development (NCCRD), one of the world's largest combustion research centers with cutting-edge infrastructure.
A two-time TEDx speaker, Prof. Chakravarthy has co-founded several innovative startups, including Agnikul Cosmos, Aerostrovilos Energy, Avishkaar Hyperloop, and GalaxEye, which are transforming the aerospace ecosystem in India.
